<p>If I do a channel scan on any other device (STB or TV or so) I don&#39;t need to fiddle with mapping at all. Imho MP should map all found channels to all cards of the same type automatically (e.G. User did a scan with DVB-S2 and MP maps all channels to all DVB-S2 cards available without user interaction) and leave such special things for experienced users... This would lead to a lot less painful setup of TV Server and much better User Experience... Scanning for channels is well known as necessary, mapping those channels to every card separately is a special HTPC thingie no one knows off...</p>

<p>BTW we should have a look if it&#39;s possible to activate DVB-S2 automatically also....</p>
