<p>When a setting is only loaded, but never explicitly saved in our source code, the settings file is never written to disk so that it is not possible for a user to change the settings manually.</p>

<p>Setting files should be automatically written to disk when they are programatically loaded and the respective settings file does not exist on disk, yet.</p>
