Description
The local filesystem media provider takes up to 20 seconds when collecting the root drives when a network drive is not available.
There are two things to do:
1) Check how to avoid that long time checking the availability of a network drive in LocalFsProvider
2) Check why there is no skin shown during that time
h4. Steps to Reproduce
Have a network share pointing to a computer which is offline. I'm not sure if the 20-sec delay only occurs if you didn't try to access the share in Explorer before, so maybe a restart is needed.
Go to the shares config model, click "Add share" or "Edit share", use LocalFsProvider and advance to the tree showing the root drives. The last screen showing the providers list disappears and the screen showing the root drives doesn't appear at once; instead MP-II shows a black screen for the time until the provider has collected the available root drives.
