Choosing standby or hibernate from the TopBar menu on the home screen exits MediaPortal, before putting the computer in standby/hibernate mode.

- Navigate to the home screen
- Press right arrow key to activate the TopBar menu
- Press enter to open the power options menu
- choose standby or hibernate

MediaPortal will exit before putting the computer into standy/hibernate mode.
