to reproduce:-

home > press left arrow once, if menu item is highlighted or twice if no menu item is highlighted. This takes you to the standby button press enter / ok to access the menu. if you press the down arrow nothing happens (it should highlight the first entry) press it again and it highlights the first entry in the list. only an extra keystroke but still irritating.
