<p>The dialog <b>Setup database connection</b> which is displayed at the end of TV Server installation or when <b>SetupTV.exe</b> is invoked with the switch <b>/configure-db</b> provides a field to override the default dependency of the TV service on <b>SQLBrowser</b> (SQL Server Browser).&nbsp; When a different dependency is entered (e.g. <b>MSSQL$SQLEXPRESS</b>), the TV service is modified as expected.&nbsp; However, the next execution of SetupTV.exe without command-line arguments resets the dependency to <b>SQLBrowser</b>.&nbsp; SetupTV.exe should not change the dependency unless the change takes place throught the <b>Setup database connection </b>dialog.&nbsp; Please see <a href="https://forum.team-mediaportal.com/threads/supported-sql-server-version-s-tv-service-dependency-on-sql-server-wait-for-tv-server-startup.140364/">this thread</a> and <a href="https://www.team-mediaportal.com/wiki/display/MediaPortal1/SQL%20Server%202017%20Express">this wiki article</a> for further details.</p>
