<p>If I start "MP", and then try to start "MP Config", a pop-up window is displayed saying that "MP" must be closed before "MP Config" can start.</p>

<p>But if I start "MP Config", I am then allowed to start "MP", so that they are running simultaneously. This may be the intention, but the asymmetry is worrying -- either they can run together or they can't.</p>

<p>I first noticed this with MP 1.12, but it still occurs with MP 1.16 pre.</p>
