Either go into epg and choose to record a tv show which is already currently playing or in sheduled recordings -> new and choose to record from present to whenever. Both situations a lockup occurs, have to ctrl+alt+del to get out. Opening MP then shows the recording is happening. Happens on both analogue and dvb-t cards.
