<p>TsWriter ignores in-band SCTE cable channel info.</p><p>When CableCARD tuner support was added, the necessary SCTE parser code was added and tested via the PBDA interface. The code works fine for PBDA where the MS tuner proxy filter provides the out-of-band sections to TsWriter. However the parsers don't get invoked when the same sections are received via the main (in-band) stream.</p><p>The practical effect is that scanning with a clear QAM tuner results in creation of channels without proper names or channel numbers even when those details are available.</p>
