during the last months we have always seen reports that master/slave server setups are not working correctly.

so we have 2 options.
1. fix it, but we have to be aware that there will always be "useability issues" since its not featurecomplete.
2. dissable this functinality completely and maybe re-add it later (i.e. MP2 - TVEngine)
