In multiseat when suspending and resuming TV it would often and randomly show the "Connection to TV service lost" message, even though the server is up and running.

Clicking "ok" to this error message along with a new channel change, and everything is ok again.

The problem lies in the heartbeat thread in tv plugin... It now correctly listens to the resume/suspend variables.
