On a clean client install, no channel is specified in MediaPortal.xml.

Because in 1.3.0Beta, a change was made to display the EPG starting from the last-used channel, if no such channel is specified then the EPG doesn't display correctly. See screenshot in linked forum post.

Presumably this just needs a check adding if there is no last-used channel to default to the first channel in the current group.
