<p>Currently EVR video renderer is logging the dropped frames only when ! rendering stats are visible. This is not good for toubleshooting rendering quality issues on low end systems that are barely able to render the video.</p><h4><a data-cke-saved-name="StepstoReproduce" name="StepstoReproduce"></a>Steps to Reproduce</h4><p>1) Open a video that is known to drop frames (4k video on a slow system should do it <img class="emoticon" data-cke-saved-src="/images/icons/emoticons/smile.gif" src="/images/icons/emoticons/smile.gif" alt="" align="absmiddle" border="0" height="20" width="20" /><br />2) Observe EVR log</p><h4><a data-cke-saved-name="AdditionalInformation" name="AdditionalInformation"></a>Additional Information</h4><p>The rendering statistics on a low end system are causing lot of dropped frames. The possible solutions:</p><p><a data-cke-saved-href="http://issues.team-mediaportal.com/browse/MP1-1" href="http://issues.team-mediaportal.com/browse/MP1-1" title="Streaming radio station stops when viewing a picture" class="issue-link" data-issue-key="MP1-1"><del>MP1-1</del></a> enable dropped frame logging when no ! stats are visible<br /><a data-cke-saved-href="http://issues.team-mediaportal.com/browse/MP1-2" href="http://issues.team-mediaportal.com/browse/MP1-2" title="single picture view is not AR compensated" class="issue-link" data-issue-key="MP1-2"><del>MP1-2</del></a> add a registry key for toggling the dropped frame logging (preferable enabled as default to help to troubleshoot the issues users experience)<br /><a data-cke-saved-href="http://issues.team-mediaportal.com/browse/MP1-3" href="http://issues.team-mediaportal.com/browse/MP1-3" title="duration of recordings is wrong" class="issue-link" data-issue-key="MP1-3"><del>MP1-3</del></a> enable logging when MPAR active or bias close to 1</p><p>It should also log a summary of the dropped/repeated frames whenever they are reset (and when play is stopped).</p>
