We have to either remove the old installation info from installed extensions, or only show the latest version in the list.

h4. Steps to Reproduce
LAV Filters is one of the extensions that has update without uninstall set. You need to have an outdated version of LAV Filters installed. Then download the latest version, install it, and you'll have both the old and new version listed in installed extensions.

Problem only manifests when you update LAV by manually downloading the new extension file and doubleclick or open via menu to install it.
