the g_Player displays an Error Message when Playback fails. In that error message it tries to tell the user about missing codecs. If the video codec is not known->nothing is displayed (correct). But even if audio codec is not know, it will display:

This confuses the user (happens often in OnlineVideos) so that he thinks there is an error in his audio setup, which is not really the case - most cases the file was not found under the given url.
