    Description

Turning display device off that is connected by HDMI / DVI causes video / audio playback to stop on some display drivers & adapters, depending on the device driver behaviour.

Under Vista this can be fixed by using DirectX 9 Ex. Not easy to fix under XP, would require lot of refactiring to separate the audio playback from GUI engine.

      h4. Steps to Reproduce
      1) start audio playback
      2) switch HDMI/DVI display device off
